Privacy Policy

Last updated: 21 August 2026

We keep this short because we collect very little. This page explains what happens to your personal data when you visit getarqon.com or get in touch with us.

Who is responsible

The data controller is MARGOT SAS, trading as Arqon, 117 rue de Belleville, 75019 Paris, France (SIREN 989 753 553). For anything in this policy, write to contact@getarqon.com.

What we collect

This website has no account system, no contact form, and no advertising trackers. We do not build profiles of visitors, and we never sell or rent personal data.

Three things are processed:

Technical logs
Our host records the usual server data on each request - IP address, date and time, pages requested, browser and device type. This is what keeps the site available and secure.
Audience statistics
We count page views with Vercel Web Analytics, a cookieless measurement tool, along with one anonymous interaction: a click on a “Book a call” button, and which of them it was. Each measurement records the button and the page, and nothing about you. The tool stores nothing on your device, keeps no persistent identifier, cannot follow you across sites, and gives us only aggregated numbers - never a profile of you.
What you send us
If you email us or book a call, we process what you choose to share: your name, your email address, your company, and the content of your message.

Why we process it, and on what basis

To reply to you
Legitimate interest - answering someone who contacted us, and following up on a business conversation they started.
To keep the site running
Legitimate interest - availability, security, and defence against abuse and attacks.
To understand our audience
Legitimate interest - knowing how many people visit, which pages they read and how many go on to request a call, so we can tell whether this site is doing its job. It is measured without cookies or persistent identifiers, so no consent is required.
To meet our obligations
Legal obligation - accounting and tax records, where a business relationship follows.

How long we keep it

Server logs are kept for a short technical retention period by our host. Business correspondence is kept for the duration of the exchange and up to three years after our last contact, so we can pick a conversation back up. Documents we are legally required to keep are retained for the statutory period, which for accounting records is ten years.

Who else sees it

We use a small number of service providers, each acting on our instructions and bound by contract:

Vercel Inc.
Website hosting, delivery and cookieless audience statistics (United States).
Sanity AS
Content management system - it stores the site's editorial content, not visitor data (Norway / European Union).
Google Ireland Ltd.
Google Workspace - our professional email (European Union).

Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, the transfer is covered by the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses together with the provider’s own supplementary safeguards.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or hand it over in a portable format. You may also object to processing we base on legitimate interest.

Write to contact@getarqon.com and we will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority, at cnil.fr.

Cookies

This site sets no tracking or advertising cookies. The detail is in our Cookie Policy.

Changes to this policy

If we add a contact form, a cookie-based tracker or an embedded booking widget, this policy changes with it, and the date at the top of the page tells you when it last did.
